Forty Years at the Forefront
of Retail Real Estate

The Group

Policentro Group operates in Italy and abroad in the promotion and development market of Shopping Centers and Mixed-Use Centers.

Recently, in a market that is now mature and undergoing strong consolidation, Policentro has evolved into a true real estate services “boutique”, specializing in the management of special situations and value-added services.

Building on its deep knowledge of the shopping center business, Policentro now positions itself as a promoter and strategic partner in value-creation projects within the retail real estate sector, including in distressed assets.

History

Starting from the late 1970s, Policentro has designed, developed, marketed, and managed 20 shopping centers in Italy and abroad, visited each year by more than 80 million consumers, for a total of over 600,000 square meters of asset optimization retail space.

Services

Policentro has refined “in the field” its ability to integrate and coordinate a network of highly specialized expertise covering the entire value chain of particularly complex real estate development projects with strong returns on investment, developing over time a significant capacity for leadership in processes with a high degree of difficulty.

Projects

Policentro is currently involved in various projects, in some cases acting in a managerial and/or service role on behalf of third parties, and in others directly developing real estate transactions in which it holds equity interests and/or corporate control.

Team

The Policentro “team” consists of 8 highly specialized professionals and technical experts, each with over a decade of expertise in the Shopping Center sector.
The Policentro team operates through an operating company, Policentro Due S.r.l., which also performs the role of holding company.

Among others, particular mention should be made of the Group’s Chairman, Dr. Massimo Teppa, boasting over 20 years of track record of experience in the Real Estate sector.
His track record includes 8 Shopping Centers with more than 100 stores (projects managed and brought to opening while holding executive roles), responsibility as director of numerous special purpose vehicles and shopping center management consortia, the design and implementation of complex asset management initiatives, the management of corporate restructuring projects involving SPVs and distressed assets, and dozens of special situations.
