Officine S

Italy

Torino (TO)

13,000

sqm

Opening:

Winter 2021

On December 16, 2021, Policentro opened to the public in Turin the new urban space “Officine S,” a commercial facility located within a historic industrial building that had been abandoned for years and has now been repositioned on the market through a complex three-year revamping process.

This project represents an innovative urban regeneration initiative involving a shopping gallery located in the northern area of Turin. Despite benefiting from a significant catchment area, the property had gradually been neglected over the years and had lost its commercial appeal.

Having identified the investor, Policentro devised and promoted a project to transform the shopping centre into a hub for entertainment and food & beverage services, as well as a new model of urban regeneration aimed at a broad and inclusive audience, with significant impacts on the local social and cultural fabric.

Policentro has been granted a mandate by the investor to develop and manage the ‘turnkey’ operation until it becomes fully profitable, which is expected to be three years after opening.
